Steamboat Springs Wedding at Bella Vista Estate

Steamboat Springs Wedding at Bella Vista Estate | Intimate Fall Wedding in Steamboat

About a month and a half ago, I spoke with this lovely bride about photographing their intimate Steamboat Springs Wedding at Bella Vista Estate.  They’re currently living in Denver, but had quite a bit of family visiting from both out of state and out of the country.  When we pulled into Bella Vista off Rabbit Ears Pass, I was completely taken back by the view.  The building sits on top of the hill that leads into Steamboat Springs, overlooking the entire valley and lake.

Being a Colorado Wedding Photographer, Bella Vista was definitely my kind of place, very quaint and intimate.  The staff consisted of some of the most friendly people I’ve worked with to date and they had the poolside set up looking spectacular for the BBQ reception that followed the ceremony.

The couple’s intimate ceremony was held on the lawn facing out towards Lake Catamount.  They were surrounded by roughly 30 of their closest family and friends.

During the ceremony, the bride’s brother sang “All I want is You” by Barry Louise Polisar.  Complete with the harmonica and tambourine, of course.  I’ve never heard this sang at a wedding before, and I felt like it fit the simple yet elegance of their intimate ceremony.

When I first spoke to the bride, she had mentioned how important their families were to them.  One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings is capturing genuine moments during family formals.

In October, this sweet family of two will become a family of three!  They are expecting their first baby boy shortly.
