Back in June 2013, Katie (who would later become a very good friend) started a Photography group specifically for women in Colorado. The Denver Photo Betties.
As time progressed and the group began to grow (at an INCREDIBLE rate), I joined the Betty Board. We plan events, shootouts, workshops, and generally maintain the group
We organized a Shootout for August, themed around Bridal images. A Shootout is where photographers can practice their skill/try new methods while photographing models who have agreed to dress up and participate.
This Shootout was a first for me… not my first shootout, but I brought baby Colton along! Three of us photographers brought our littles with us so we could get out and go shoot!
