Alyssa and CJ came out to Colorado to elope at one of my favorite Summit County locations – Loveland Pass. The Pass is open year round (pending extreme weather), and provides excellent access to sweeping 360º mountain views. If you’re looking to add on hiking – there’s also many amazing trails that head up to 13,000′ and above just off the Pass summit.

With their families and closest friends joining them for their Colorado elopement – Alyssa and CJ decided to stay at the Pass summit area to celebrate with their loved ones. We met at their condo down in Keystone for a few getting ready images, then made our way on the short drive up the pass.

For their ceremony, we headed up a short staircase to overlook Arapahoe Basin and the East Wall – providing a slightly more private spot to say their vows.

Once they were married, we all headed across the way to Pass Lake for a few special dances right on the water’s edge. Alyssa surprised her father with a private first dance – an elopement can still have all the elements of a more traditional wedding day that you’re wanting to include <3. CJ’s mother left our earth too early – and all the women in attendance danced with CJ in a first dance in her honor.

Congratulations again, Alyssa and CJ! I had such a fantastic time celebrating with you, your sweet kiddo, and your loved ones.

Cheers –
