Denver Wedding Photographer
As I sit here writing this, I simply can not believe that another year being a Denver wedding photographer is coming to a close.  The saying that time flies when you’re having fun (and getting older) is quite true.  To me, it feels like it shouldn’t even be spring 2017 yet, not already December 30.  Looking back on my year, I must say, it was quite the adventure.  I hiked more than I have in YEARS (both for shoots and for personal solitude), I visited some incredible places, and I had the honor to celebrate a record number of weddings and elopements with some of the most amazing people.

•Some tidbits about my 2017•

Coldest day photographing outside:  -10• plus windchill
Hottest day photographing outside: 100• plus Kansas City humidity
Record number of times visited Estes Park
Number of out-of-state photographic trips: 6 – including both coasts
Photographed with the officiant who officiated my own wedding 3 times
Ruined one Canon MkIII in the rain
Scratched one lens climbing over rocks
Attended two weddings as a guest (and left my camera at home!)
Visited the Maroon Bells for the first time
Ate VooDoo doughnuts during the middle of an elopement
Photographed my eldest surviving wedding dress (1940s – Bride’s Grandmothers)
Saw the Redwoods for the first time
Hiked in Zion, Yosemite, Valley of Fire, and the Columbia River Gorge while out on business
One Bride in a T-Rex Outfit
Found out what a Freemason is (yep, had NO idea)
Photographed in Mid December, at 9,000ft and had NO SNOW
One groom obsessed with Billy Joel, one couple a fellow Beatles lover, and a happy photographer to see some Classic Rock being played at weddings!! <3
Woke up before 3am to photograph more times than I can count

Met some of the most amazing, inspiring, loving couples.  Seriously.  I love you guys.  To all my 2017 clients, I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to capture your celebration.  It truly means the world to me.
