My approach blends documentary storytelling with thoughtful portraiture, preserving both the sweeping landscapes and the quiet in-between moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours.

You don’t need a full plan before reaching out. A starting point is more than enough - we’ll build the rest together.

•Including your surroundings in your images is important. You picked those views for a reason!
•Bonus: You have a dog in attendance. Or a Beverage burro. Let's make that an animal of any sort.
What do the next steps look like? Here's what to expect and when
Weddings tend to book 8-15 months before the wedding date, particularly for prime summer and fall dates. I highly recommend reaching out as soon as you have your date and venue selected. Is your date closer than that 8 month timeframe? That's just the average time booked, that certainly doesn't mean I don't have your date available.
Yay! I'm so excited to be celebrating your wedding day together! To reserve your date, I ask for a $1300 retainer, with the rest being due anytime up until 30 days before your wedding. You can access your invoice and contract at any point in time.
Feel free to reach out at any point in time with questions or thoughts! I'm always happy to help however I can. From my end, you can expect an email 30 days prior to your wedding that includes my Questionnaire and timeline questions. This is when we start to get into that super specific stuff - what time everything is happening, do you have any unique moments that you'd like me to know about, is your family cray cray, do you want to try and get Milky Way shots if possible, etc. The week of, you'll get another email confirming our arrival time.
When do we get our photos?!
I know that you're super excited to see some, expect a Sneak Peek of 10-20 images within 24-48 hours of your wedding date. Full Wedding Gallery delivery will be within 30 days of your wedding. Once I've finished hand editing all your images and organizing your gallery, you'll get an Email with a link to your gallery. Share your images with whomever you'd like, and be sure to print them as well! I want you to enjoy your photos for years to come.

What is Comprehensive Coverage?
Hourly limits suck. I don't want you to have to try and squish things into a timeline just to make sure you get photos of certain activities.
Your whole day is important, and you deserve to remember everything from getting ready to your reception.
I want to tell the story of YOUR day.
Typically, we start halfway through getting ready to capture your details and final finishing touches. Our time together usually ends around an hour into open dancing when we've captured the vibe of your reception - unless you're having a grand exit then I'll be there with you to the very end of the day.

Sometimes, you want photos before or after your wedding.

"Savannah is hands down the best wedding photographer. We are so happy and fortunate that we had her with us on our wedding day.
To start, her photos are jaw-dropping. A large part of the reason we hired her is because her photography of intimate moments in gorgeous landscapes is remarkable. We particularly wanted outdoor nature photography for our first look, and she fulfilled that dream—we now have stunning first look photos in the Rocky Mountains. But in addition to capturing nature, she also excels at photographing small details, candid moments, portraits, and indoor partying. No matter the lighting, time of day, type of photo, or subject, Savannah can capture it in a beautiful photo.
She is also the most energetic, upbeat photographer with a passion for what she does. For our wedding day, she arrived around 10am while I was getting prepared, then traipsed around RMNP with us for first look photos and family portrait, then captured all elements of our wedding until our last song around 11pm, and then went back into the park with us for star photos. At my request, she even took another unplanned, late-night photo AFTER the star photos. She is a true trooper—she has seemingly endless energy and a willingness to go the extra mile, or ten.
Leading up to the wedding, she was always incredibly responsive and helpful on any little details or questions. She is a consummate professional, and a lovely person. She is super easy to talk to and was fun to spend time with on the wedding day. We also want to give a shout-out to the photographer she brought as her assistant, who is in her own right a wonderful photographer and awesome person, and who contributed gorgeous photos as well!

She's a master of lighting and capturing amazing photos, including spectacular sunset shots. For our engagement photos, she asked if we'd be interested in doing them at the Great Sand Dunes National Park, and we took her up on that. It was a magical landscape to have the engagement photos done and she captured both me and my fiancé and the landscape in jaw dropping brilliance. The wedding photos turned out equally incredible. Savannah’s prices are comparable to other wedding photographers but the quality of the product she produces blows the other photographers away.
